Travel Booking PlatformBuilding a travel booking platform in the same space as Booking.com and Trip.com. Shipping end-to-end features across the stack and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver work that meaningfully impacts users.

Key Achievements:

  • Shipping a Booking.com-style travel reservations platform end-to-end with Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL — search, filtering, booking flow, and admin tooling.
  • Architecting features against a multi-vendor inventory and pricing model, keeping critical booking paths fast under heavy filtering and date-range queries.
  • Hunting performance regressions and tech debt as part of feature work — refactoring hot paths, tightening queries, and trimming bundle size.
  • Reviewing pull requests and pair-programming with junior engineers to lift code quality and clear delivery blockers.

Amzad Food ERP & Campus TransferBackend lead across two production systems — an ERP for Amzad Food (inventory + e-commerce) and a Campus Transfer platform with student, admin, partner, and public-website portals for international university admissions.

Key Achievements:

  • Led a small engineering team to ship two enterprise systems in 6 months — Amzad Food ERP and the Campus Transfer multi-portal admissions platform.
  • Architected and built the complete backend for Campus Transfer — four interconnected portals (student, admin, partner, public site) with role-based access and end-to-end admissions workflow.
  • Built inventory and e-commerce backend modules for the Amzad Food ERP, plus the inventory management frontend, handling real stock and order operations.
  • Owned backend architecture and code review while delegating frontend work to junior developers — keeping both projects unblocked and on schedule.

  • Increased mobile engagement 30% through a Next.js-based responsive redesign of high-traffic course and assessment flows.
  • Designed scalable database schemas and query patterns supporting 1000+ concurrent users at 99.9% uptime.
  • Halved deployment time by introducing GitHub Actions CI/CD with automated testing, linting, and zero-downtime releases.

Projects

দর্জিখাতা — Tailor Shop Manager

Bangla-first, multi-tenant SaaS for Bangladeshi tailor shops: custom measurement fields, order workflow, and dues — built for owners who may not read fluently.

  • Multi-tenant from the first migration — composite uniqueness, one auth seam
  • Shop-defined garments and measurement fields stored as JSONB, no migration per shop
  • Measurements frozen onto each order, so history never rewrites itself

Vaultly — Secure File Storage

File storage where a 500 MB upload costs the server two small JSON requests: the browser sends chunks straight to object storage, and every file is private until you publish a link you can take back.

  • Presigned S3 multipart uploads: bytes go browser to storage, three parts in flight, per-part retry
  • Post-upload verification — real size checked against the declared size, magic bytes sniffed from a 4 KB range read
  • Executables rejected on signature, including the Mach-O/Java 0xCAFEBABE collision

Book Universe — A Book Catalog Platform

  • Token-based (JWT) authentication and protected routes
  • Search by book title, author, and genre
  • CRUD operations for verified users
